Capcom decided to reissue this Gamecube game

After 9 years of its launch, Gotcha Force will be reissued now again.​

Capcom has decided to reissue Gotcha Force for Gamecube (the game was released in 2003) in Japan. The new game will be sold exclusively in the e-Capcom store for ¥4,998 in limited quantities in March.

Gamecube is officially a collector's system, according to Gamestop.​

Gamestop has officially announced that they wont accept more Gamecube consoles, games and accessories trade-ins starting on April 2, according to a banner located in the retailers trade-ins US webpage and similar signs in stores.

But don't panic, Gamestop will continue...

Yeah, there are plenty of other portable GCN attempts out there, but this is the first time I see one using a Tupperware container as a case... an user called CKmods, managed to do it, and well... it works.

I never really got around to actually running linux on the cube, but I might re-consider it.. I was wondering, is it possible to stream video over the network for playback like you can do with WIIMC? I think that would be a great little use for the old cube.

Edit: Forgot the gamecubes ethernet adapter is limited to 10 Mbps, just forget this post.

Can't get backup games to load. GCOS

Hello, I've been trying to play my backup of pikmin. However, I followed all directions and still nothing works. I have the sd media launcher and a 1.35 gb burned a 2x in imgburn burned. I inserted the memory card, inserted the software. The software boots and I have tried both gcos 1.5 and 1.x. From there I choose boot game, swap my disc and in 1.5 I get a "Can't read media error" or in 1.x it tells me OK! and then goes back to the main menu. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Loading DVDs with gcos

Hi, i hope there are still some NGC people out there :)
I got the SD Media Launcher and wanted to backup my games.
Now I used more than 6 Platinum mini DVD-R to burn my games.
Burning and everything works, but as soon as i want to load the DVD i get the following error:

on gcos 1.5:
- setting up 06 and stuck / setting up 06 and media wasn't recognized

gcos beta 1.x
- mount is in progress and stuck

what am I doing wrong :O
please could someone help me

Here is an updated GCOS Remote Loading Server for use with the LAN Explorer feature of GCOS v1.5.

The LAN Explorer feature is used to load .dol and .elf files and stream .gcm and .iso files from your PC to your Gamecube. It allows you to browse your PC's harddrive and select the file you wish to load.

There is an included ReadMe.txt for information, but briefly, to use it:

Run the GCoS-rls.exe on your PC, connect your PC to your Gamecube and set the proper IP settings in GCOS....

If you can't get big memcards to work with level3 etc, please use Nikita202's format.dol which i have attached here, thanks again Nikita202.

Features:
Copy up to a 256 block file (2mb)
Crappy little SLOT1/2 browser (i like to use it to see what my files are named on the actual card)
Execute level3.dol from memcard.
Write any GCI file to card without a BBA! (read below)
